Awkwafina
Awkwafina is an American actor and performer who began her career with clever raps that tackled the issues of sexuality and race with a a boldly comic perspective. Her career then grew to Hollywood. The actress was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants from Forest Hills Queens her first encounter with the world of music was through the trumpet. The classical, jazz, and hip-hop training began as she was in her teens. While in college, she took classes in journalism and women's studies. She even spent an hour studying Mandarin at the University of Beijing. When she graduated, she started to concentrate on music. In 2012 her track My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success across the Internet eventually landing on her debut album Yellow Ranger in 2014. It also contained viral hits such as the body positive Queef or winking hometown tour NYC Bitche$. The latter track was linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide for 2015, which was a travel guide. Apart from having a book published as well, she also worked as a performer. In addition to early television shows like Girl Code and Tawk, she has also been featured in movies including Neighbors2Storks and Bad Rap. In 2018 she landed major roles in a variety of high-profile films like Dude Ocean's 8, and Crazy Rich Asians. In June she dropped her new EP "In Fina We Trust".
