Aunjanue The. Ellis Taylor is an American producer and actress. She is a graduate of the BA in African-American Studies and an MFA from Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actor and producer. She is active in films theater and on television. She started acting on stage and then appeared in independent, mainstream and TV series. Her most well-known roles were as Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) as well as in BET's massive The Book of Negroes. The two series garnered reviews, and she also took home a variety of accolades.
