Linda Edna Cardellini is the daughter of Lorraine (Hernan), a mother, and Wayne David Cardellini (a father), an entrepreneur. She is of Italian (from her paternal grandfather), Irish (from her mother), German, English and Scottish descent. Linda was born in the San Francisco Bay region, California being the eldest of four siblings. When she was in her tenth grade she started to become attracted to acting after performing in a play at school. She performed in school plays as well as local community theater. Linda attended Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, California. She had to choose among New York for theater and Los Angeles for film and TV when she finished her studies. When she graduated, she had to decide whether or not to pursue film and television in Los Angeles. Linda was chosen for her debut role in the show Bone Chillers (1996). Freaks and Geeks, 1999 was her breakthrough performance. Lindsay Weir was her character in the Emmy-winning show.

Lily James is a stage name used for Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson, an English actress born on the 5th of April, 1989. She studied at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama and began her acting career on the British TV show Just William (2010). Following her role in the role of Lady Rose MacClare in the period drama series Downton Abbey (2012-2015), her breakout role was her role as the lead in the film of fantasy Cinderella (2015). James was then cast as the role of Countess Natasha Rostova as part of the television adaption of War & Peace (2016). James also appeared in a number films like Baby Driver (2017) and The Dig -2021. and Here We Go Again (2018) and Yesterday (2019). Pam & Tommy, a biographical TV series that is based on the life of Pamela Anderson (released in 2022) has earned her nominations for a Golden Globe Award winner and an Primetime Emmy Award.
