Her achievements as a young performer in America (which we call Maureen O'Hara today) would be a sure signification for her to the category of child prodigies. Maureen was a fan of rough sports as young and became very good in them. Her talent for performing perfectly complemented her interest in sport. She won almost all Feis Award for Theater and Drama that her country had to offer. When she turned 14, she was accepted by the Abbey Theater accepted her and allowed her to live out her dreams of classical theater as well as singing opera.
