Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980. She's an American singer and actress. Her birthplace and childhood was in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier) and is an RN as well as Tom Bell, a television news director. The mother of Kristen is Polish and her father is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen found her talent in the world of entertainment at a young age. She was just 12 when she attended her first audition. She was successful and got the role of Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mom signed her up with an agency before her 13th birthday. She later appeared on television commercials as well as newspaper advertisements. Additionally, she began to take classes in acting privately. Bell had a role that was not credited in Polish Wedding (1998), the film that was released in 1998. Bell studied at Shrine Catholic High School where she participated in the music as well as drama. She was a part of Dorothy in the school production of The Wizard of Oz. Bell was accepted to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theatre following her graduation. Bell quit the school in 2001 and took on the part of Becky, a character from Tom Sawyer. It was also in 2001 that Bell's first appearance in a credited film, Pootie Tang (2002). However, her part is cut off and the credits are all that show her. Bell appeared alongside Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
