Teri Hatcher

Teri HatcherTeri Hatcher was born Teri Lynn Hatcher on December 8, 1964 in Palo Alto California. Her mother, Esther, was a computer programmer for Lockheed Martin, and her father, Owen, was an electrical engineer as well as a nuclear physicist. Teri was a ballet student at the San Juan School of Dance and was born in Sunnyvale. Fremont High School was where she was the Featherettes dance captain and was recognized with the "Most Likely To Be a Solid Gold Dancer" award. Hatcher graduated from De Anza College, where she studied engineering and mathematics. She also attended acting classes at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Teri confessed that she had endured sexual abuse by her uncle, Richard Hayes Stone, from the age of 5. she helped Santa Clara County prosecutors with their case against him after an innocent 14-year-old victim of Stone's suicide. Stone was sentenced in prison for four counts, pleading guilty to molestation. While in prison, he died from colon cancer.
